New website launched

Train Shetland has launched its new website today.

This exciting development brings a new interactive and highly functional site to apprentices, parents and employers; with one clear goal of promoting modern apprenticeships in Shetland.

The new site includes a wealth of information about why young people should apply for a modern apprenticeship, as well as information aimed at employers considering adding to their staff.  Case studies from past and present employers and apprentices help reinforce the benefits of this training scheme.

Train Shetland – Vocational Training manages Modern Apprenticeships across a wide range of companies throughout Shetland. We support a range of applicants; school leavers, students and adults, looking for skills-based employment with training. We are also responsible for co-coordinating Undergraduate summer placements with local companies through a national enterprise scheme.
