Typical work duties include: building surveying; computer aided drawing, liasing with contractors, checking the work done conforms to work allocated. Input of data to keep track of finance, bills of quantities, register of work, writing reports. Work is mostly office based with some site visits.

Description:

You will attend video conference tutorials twice a week for two years. These are delivered by Perth College.
HNC units include: Site Surveying, Materials and Testing, Site Administration, Construction Contracts

Duration:

The course will take approximately two years to complete the Higher National Certificate (HNC), plus 2 years for SVQ 3. The SVQ is work based and the candidate will compile a portfolio of evidence and assessments in the workplace.
